The fish or Omar? Porque no los todos?

0530 launch at Alamitos, started with a spinnerbait and had 5 before poor Omar could get his tube wet.





The bite had already slowed by the time the sun was over the tree line and Omar had gotten over to me. I kept getting short bites but tougher pick.

Ended up with 10 to his 4. Out-fished him even without the head start. Quality was decent with most spotties 12" clones with one to 13". 6 spotties and 4 turds.




I suppose I have to admit he had me licked last Tuesday. He got off work before I did and had 6 before I was on the water. He ended up with 3 more to my 2 during that session, which included the first flounder I've caught in over a month.

You need to learn from Tom. Never admit someone out fished you. Especially in writing. 😂😂😂
