I hit the puddles this morning looking for cats and casting for bass.  Not a single hit...

I switched up to Bluegill but couldn't find one big enough to take the hook.  I kept seeing a huge wake and casting the bass gear at it but it never even turned.  Then it jumped... BIG BOY carp!  Probably 30 pounds!

I rerig and grab a can of corn out of my catfish box that expired in 2019.  Opened it and it still smelled like a new can of corn.  I cast out and waited...

Then the rod doubled over!  I'm on!

Unfortunately it was no where near the size of the one I saw jump, but had some perty lips.  LOL

That was it.  Headed home and grabbed some c*cktails.  Wife quit drinking, so now everytime I grab a drink and stay in the garage, she gets mad at me.

Oh well...

I think it's tuna time tomorrow.  I spent all day applying for jobs and had a phone interview.  I would be stoked, but they came back $30K less than what I was making, so not sure I want that gig.

Until next puddle time!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

You've been on a good variety binge lately. Good luck tomorrow!
