12 Ten Hour Days in a Row

Well, this new "extension" for another month is not going how I was hoping.  I get to spend the next 12 days for 10 hours a day processing inventory and data entry on a new system.  No days off and no overtime due to I'm a salary employee.  They want me to move up my end date for two weeks afterwards, so they don't have to pay me for nothing to do but f@ck that.  That's at least what they can pay me for having to work that much in 12 straight days.

Keep the forum going, but I will try to check in every now and then.  I doubt I would want to look at another computer for two weeks after this, but I will try.

I'm looking into fishing 5 days a week coming up soon.  I just heard the unicorns arrived locally!

Day 1 sucked as expected, but I hope it gets easier from here.  After 12 days, I plan on fishing 12 days straight to find balance again...  Then I look for a new gig.  lol

I've been working early shifts for 25 years and these late shifts are killing me.  lol

I tried to get up this morning to head down and go fishing before I had to head into work... Well, the morning came quicker than I thought and that warm comfortable bed restrained me from getting up.  Only 10 more days in a row for this shift.... I figure starting Mid-August; I'll be able to get back on track and fishing multiple times a week.  I got more confirmation texts on pelagic sightings, so it's time to restock the freezer!
