So I found a weird rod holder fishing with Steve on Fiesta Island about 8 years ago and I thought it was rather strange.  Definitely a rod holder a bucketeer left behind.

I've been using it for all sorts of trips from bat rays to bass over the years and felt like I needed to adjust it to accommodate my style of fishing.  Basically, I'm making a fusion of my old bat ray days with the croaker-stroaker holders.

First off, the angle aluminum prices are out of hand!  $30 for a 4' section!

I'm recycling the PVC and hardware, but this is where I'm going with it.  I'll finish it up for review here tomorrow.

Instead of sanding, I'm going to use the bay sand to do it for me.  lol

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Max and Myles made some a couple years ago, still going strong. I had them put a PVC end cap on there too for a bait holder or a can holder ;)
