I'll get pics up later, but on Sunday I decided to see how my shoulder will do with some casting on the bay.  My plan was to fish and then do a little fossil hunting right after.
As I drove down, I realized where I planned to fish was cut off by some marathon or walk or something.  Damn... time to drive around the bay.

Decided to fish the Island since that was miraculously open and the really low tide limited where I could really fish safely enough.

Worked 3 spots around the island and went toe to toe with bass/needlefish/bass/needlefish/bass/needlefish in that order.  Lost a few more but only felt like extra small bass.

My shoulder was starting to hurt so I called it quits and went to do a little fossil hunting.  Road Closed....

Well, back home to work on the garage and get it all cleaned up from moving out all of the fossils.  That also is code for I drank too much and went straight to the couch when I got home from work the next day.  lol

I'm going on a kite trip for bluefin this weekend.  This should be interesting....
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

That shoulder ain't never going to heal with all the abuse you give it but sometimes the pain is worth it ;D

Sounds like a fun session, at least the fishing part.

Good luck with the bluefin! I'm kinda hiding my head in the sand with pelagic news for now so I don't rush into another sled.
