I have 2 options available.

Drive 4 hours Saturday morning and attend my usual Fourth of July party at my house.

Stay with my sister after her surgery and make sure she's ok.

I'll make the call Friday night. She's doing really well and wants me to go home.

If you go on a holiday weekend you'll hate it. If you don't go you'll hate yourself.

Don't hate yourself. Feel free to hate everyone at the ramp.

That's good news. Glad to hear it. Looking forward to getting out with you again sometime. Next couple months are looking rough. Of course it's right after I bought my license and right at the beginning of a possible epic season.

I've caught plenty of fish from shore in front of the catamaran.

My shoulder is getting another PRP shot along with another MRI in a few weeks. The surgeon said he's sure I need surgery but I won't get it in a super El nino year! I might be relagated to soaking bait the next 3 weeks.
