Quote from: jrodda on May 22, 2026, 07:47:52 PMMy cooking abilities pale in comparison to you guys, would you like your fish fried or dried?

I just got a hold of some BFT (sorry Steve) that either I or Alicia could whip something up in advance to bring along as a kind of fresh appetizer or hors d'oeuvre (ceviche or poke, maybe some tuna jerky). I was also thinking about bringing a 6 pack of near beers (sorry Steve) that you may or may not have tried.

Wow. A whole different kind of fish off.

Don't worry, I've know a burrito joint and a liquor store near every fishing spot. I'll be just fine. 🙂

I'd be the judge but I know one person who would declare victory saying his fish was so good I didn't even need to taste it.

Ha!  Sounds good though.  I'll look to see what Sunday looks best but I'm down for some soaking baits and grilling food.  Would you rather try to set something up down at the bay or do a catfish soak like we used to do with Homa?
Bay is a little closer, but not enough to matter. I'm good with whatever.

Example of a vocalization that sounds almost like speech.

Can I get a fourth double IPA?
Often followed by sure, let's do shots.

Put a fly under a bobber   The old school red and white ones. Tell them it's a strike indicator. Extra style points if you do it on a fly rod.

Used to drift a single salmon egg on a hook with a little split shot and get bit in creeks. Wonder if a bead pegged near the hook or slipped over it would work. I know they use beads in the north west.

Hope everything went well. You'll find the fishing time.

Last one I had sounded like the music on my playlist at the time. I just closed my eyes and jammed out. Over before I knew it.
