Discovery and National Geo are going toe to toe with shark programming for a week. I bounced back and forth throughout the opening night and thought National Geo had the much better show. If you like "created drama" with a Jerry Springer flair, then Discovery is your best bet.
I put the links on the front of the website but here they are for a quick check of programming.

So far, I appreciate Nat Geo's Sharkfest a whole lot more. Sharkweek makes me think I'm watching Housewive's of Florida or something like that. I had high hopes for the Monster Mako program, but it was so overdone and edited that it was barely watchable.
Sharkweek lost my interest a few years ago. Diggin the Sharkfest and love the commercials saying "that's right .. we're better and going toe to toe with the other guys" ... LOL ...
That Megalodon lives episode was my "jump the shark" moment for DisC
Watched a cool "Fest" show last night. Had a segment on seven gills, horn sharks, and an interview with the guy who tags leopard sharks about cookie cutter sharks.
There's a 7 gill episode called "Sharks of the Shadow Lands" on now that's pretty cool... Comes on again at 11:00 pm Friday night
that was pretty good. Was a trip to see how aggressive they are.
