Lots of kelp! Out going tide bottomed out quicker than sh!t. That pretty much guaranteed a fish-less night. But I got to see this!!!

I guess I'm in the right place...
Dayum dude! That's pretty sick! Never seen one that chewed up, seen a few at the bait barge that had some healing wounds, chalked it up to territorial disputes. Those are some serious shark bites!
Totally sick! Loved it! Felt bad for it since harbor seals are way cooler than f'ing sealions! Wounds look fair fresh. Like same day fresh. Not sure what shark did it: GWS, mako, 7gill? Binh has a hard time believing a 7 could do this. As big as they can get, I believe it plus I've read they could.
7 would have shredded it a lot more. Looks like a white or whale.
I say Great White! i think GWS known for attackin seals. :o :o :o ::) :D Right area!! ;) :)
Yeah the tide dropped out super fast
Did you get a couple strip baits?
That's classic "The man in the Grey suit" signature.
Mike didn't think he could cast that seal on his long rod too far. ;D I still think to get a good shot at those sharks we need to get our baits out further. :'(
Nice Lebron James game 4 impression. ;D
For Gods sake don't call sea world!!! Let the chum slick work its way out ... :P :P
That is actually exciting to see! I like seals ok, but hate sea lions. In either case, I feel bad for the shark who missed out on a great meal!
Great pics Mike!

I'd never call them!
For all the sealion haters I saw a dead one this morning...

...I laughed a little inside at the thought of horrified beach goers watching me slice shark bacon for bait ( does that make me warped?) :P :P :P

A big 'ol glob of oil! I tore it open and got it on my hands. Naturally occuring? Floated down from Refugio? Either way, bummer to see. I tossed it in the trash.
