Cheez came into town on Friday and set up shop on our couch for a few days so we could get The Cyclops wet, there are always signs that he is here, garage door gets put to good use ;D

Super calm,flat conditions and actually better than what Windy forecasted :o Got to La Jolla lickity split as The Cyclops was cruising at 32MPH.....Sweet ! We trolled around for a bit and didn't have any luck so we dropped down for pretty much wide open Whitefish action with a few others in the mix.

Decided to venture up to Del Mar to look for Rockfish to end the day but we had no luck. Myles did catch a decent red earlier but we were way inside the 50 Fathom Line so we let it go :-[

Went back inside LJ and scratched a few more fish here and there and Myles got a Bonito on a small Iron 8)

Fished till about 4pm and headed back to the ramp, 1/2 way Myles lost his new hat so we did a U-Turn and got it back ;D

Monday was clean the gear day and properly wash Cyclops so she is ready for next time :)

Today I cleaned the fish and vacuum sealed most of it. Cheez headed for Arizona early this morning so he will have Fish Tacos next visit :)

Another solid trip! Hope Cheez took some of that meat back to AZ, all they have to eat out there is rattlesnake and jack rabbit. Nice clean fillets off that whitefish too.
He said he still had fish from last trip. My back and knee were killing me after washing the boat so neither of us was in the mood to clean fish so he said to keep his bounty. I did clean the fish the next day and will have a private stash for his next venture out here ;)
