My sister suddenly has the bug for fishing, so she turned visiting me into a fishing session. She said fishing has suddenly interested her after a party boat ride on the Coroloma, relating to the captain as a 4th generation fisherman (at least) and seeing what she could make of it. Of course, she wants to be competitive with her brother as well.
So after teaching her all of the worst knots I know, we launched at 0800 in Newport. Omar came through with a spare tube and fins for her.
And I supply the hats.

So slow! We fished for about 4 hours and I beat the skunk with a nice spotty with just 30 minutes to go.

Only time will tell how much she gets into it, but happy to see her take an interest! An excellent time with my sister overall.
