I ran down at lunch to meet up with Roger and pass off some halibut for him. We fished for an hour and really did well considering we didn't move from where we were at.

I wasn't a fan of Roger feeding the blue heron his small bass but we had birds all around and above us. I tossed back a spotty and the osprey scared the sh!t out me and dove right in front of me to grab it. Well, I guess I fed one although unintentionally.

I stopped on the way to home to buy a new rod for the reel that was screaming for one. Mission accomplished.
Pretty crazy having the osprey going after your catch, cool to see though. They are wild. Saw one flying with a 5lb mullet once.
