Got out to throw LCs and bigger white grubs at a super low tide, 1700-1845.
Some wind in my face, no structure. Just focused on spying activity in shallow, I got a feeling the halibut are and have been around in shallow.
I got one last week actually and didn't post it......

Back to today. Didn't bother with the c-rig. I ended up getting three bites on the 4" white grub, one was a perch and the other two seemed more promising. Saw one "something" splash in the shallows after I missed the hookset.
I casted the LCFM off after about 30 casts...felt like a surf fisherman's form of pouring one out.
Saw the best sunset I've seen this year so far. Thank you for everything, Verne.

Your view looked way better than mine this evening. Nothing but fog and chopped salad down here.
Great Job getting out. I'm sure Verne is smiling right now as well 8)
I'm positive Verne approves!!!
Respect !!!
Bravo boss! In the words of Verne, Respect!
For anyone who might want to attend Verne's celebration of life memorial it will be held tomorrow 10/26 at surf rider beach at 9am on the sand between the homes and the lifeguard station.
Can't make the memorial. Family stuff. Really would have liked to meet the people I've read about over the years.
