Played hooky. Armed with macks. The surf was the OG plan, but with the SW swell, I retreated to the little bay.

2 rods cannon ball rigged and 4-5" mack chunks was all it took. Several bites and 3 solid pick ups resulted in a fun little bat.

Also found pair of dykes and a bungee I can use to secure my rods together.

Nice one Mike!  I love sick days, but happened to burn all of mine already because of my back.  Now I actually have to use vacation time if I want the day off.  :-\

As for the dykes... I think I've found as many as I have lost.  Just call me Even Steven.
