My worst nightmare was getting Rogers... I wanted Carr or Jackson, but leaning towards Carr. The GM and coach wanted Carr, but the Jerry Jones of the Jets (Johnson) stopped that and wanted to persue Rodgers. I admit we'll possibly get one good year out of him on the field before everything falls apart and we are back at the bottom of the heap. Ugh, I'm pretty sure I'll just fish on Sunday's and watch the highlights later. It was fun watching a young team grow, but now they added old cancer to the dynamics and I can't see it being good.
I can only hope he'll stink for the sake of my fins but it's a huge for you. He knows the OC Hackett very well but since Hackett is new and the team is relatively young I wonder if there will be growing pains for the rest of the offense, ie 2022 Packers all over again. Slow start maybe finish hot.
Carr though?? I know he's got talent but I don't think he's even top 15. Insane he got 100M from Saints but theyve been overpaying every bust QB since Brees left. Jackson would have been a slam dunk but seems like the Ravens will match offers and resign him.
Fina picked up Mike fkn White for qb2, I'm happy about that.
