Well, it appears that I have TWO badly herniated disks that need fixing. I was expecting the worst, but got some good news. They will be doing a minimal invasive surgery on me that will have me back on my feet in a week and back to normal in a month or so. They will cut some 1" openings in me and drill through the bone (transverse process I think). They will arthroscopically cut away the protruding disks against my nerve and clean up the area.
This is great news for me as I was getting nervous that I was going to have similar surgery to my neighbor which would have side lined me for 4+ months! I don't have an exact date since I'm waiting for approval again, but it looks like the end of April i will be going under the knife which means I should be back in action for big game hopefully by June! :D

Best of luck, hope everything goes as planned.
Good to hear, I hope your back to 100% soon.
Glad to hear it will be a short recovery 8)
The number one thing I can recommend is to start a yoga routine, it does wonders.
Glad to hear the great news Tom!
April 16th I go under the knife. I will hopefully be casting my new jigstick on May 15th (or maybe sooner depending on how I heal). ;D
Great news! Hoping for a speedy and seamless recovery!!
