Been thinking about dusting off the light long rod and targeting croaker one evening. Probably do north county if anyone wants to join and sling some sand crab on dropper loops.
Man, that sounds like something I'm overdue for. I got a final spot call for Sunday BFT fishing, so that pretty much takes my weekend from me.
I'd be interested in doing that sometime this summer with you though.
I aso want to try and get a big yellow from the beach. I know where some occasionally lurk. Problem is my work is draining my happiness from me.

I'm down for both. My buddy and I are going to try to check off a mako from the inflatable this weekend. After that I'll either not have a boat because it sank or be waiting on the BFT to get a little closer before I'm too invested to hit the sand.
I'm down for week nights, just need a day or two heads up.
I also want a beach Yellow. There's been a few caught extremely close to the surf this past week. The problem is the walk to get there.
