Went with Squatch to show him the magical abilities of the trolling motor and that I spent my money on a good cause...
I think he was impressed to say the least as he smiled as we caught bass after bass... and rockfish.

The average bass was about 15-16 inches. We caught a few smaller, but most were healthy fish.

Neither one of us wanted to stop fishing to take pictures, but we had 30+ fish before 9:00 am which was only 1-1/2 hours of fishing.

The fish were even suspended which was nuts! I saw some big fish on the fish finder chasing bait... told Squatch the depth... and he would reel up to that depth and catch some toads!

We actually moved a couple of times, but should have stayed put. We got about 10 rockfish along with a nice red that hit a big plastic in the shallow water!

And caught probably close to 70 bass. We weren't keeping track, but we were catcging them at a steady clip. The ones that inhaled the baits, got to take a sleigh ride back to the docks with me. That's a 2oz lead head with 6" swimbait down this turds gullet!

Ended the day with a bunch more. They started hitting the iron instead of the plastic, but all good quality. I lost a really big one that broke me off and stole my iron, but oh well. Time to order more!

Thanks for reading and until next tide!
I'm jealous ;D
That motor gave us so much more fishing time. Priceless.
The morning bite was just amazing. Sitting on top of the fish and just hammering them.
Congrats on a great acquisition.
Merry Christmas.
Wow, sounds like a no brainer option to me!
Nice fishing guys!
I enjoy freezer filler trips! That red looks extra tasty.
