Different beach, same result. Solo sesh. Macks. Many baits came back hollowed out. Critters in force. Caught a bat sniffing the bait.

The positives from this outing: conditions were stellar and the bat wasn't a 50'+ model. Little to no salad. Ankle slapper waves. No ripping current. Very light wind. No hoodie or beanie was needed. Still no grinners. Hopefully they make a showing now that the conditions have vastly improved.
Thanks for priming the spot out for us! We'll be catching up those grinners tonight!
Looks like you might be leading the "Bat Board" now. I'm actually thinking about making trophies to go with some prizes! LOL

No, the surf was calling out to me. Lol! I really do need to make bait, but the allure of finally nailing a shark was too strong. Besides, I needed to do a conditions check and take advantage of the tide before it's not worth my while come Thursday. Maybe tonight.
That's why I take the nephew and his friend, anytime a bat bites...............they deal with it ;)
FWIW, I'm gonna take my first pre greylight run at them Thursday!!
