I would like to see how common people are using their device during a fishing session. I know there are a lot of variables to take into consideration, but it's just casual poll.
Went with less than 5. Usually to check tide, and time. Sometimes a little PS or FB, but I can look at my phone anytime, so usually just leave it in the duffel bag.
Much prefer to enjoy the beach peacefully. A little conversation here and there, more clicker the better.
I voted less than 5, but really it's more. WAY less than constantly checking, streaming, etc.
I check the time, check in with my wife(she's afraid I'll get bit and bleed out), PS and FB once or twice.
Since I started fishing 2 rods, I don't sit a whole lot.
Where's the option for 8?
Only if it rings, I check the tides before I go fishing. Other than that it stays in my bag..............
I use my phone as my watch, so I check the time more than anything. If the thieves are around, I don't like to let my bait sit for more than 15, with mandatory checks at 30 if it's slower. I'm fishing to get away, so other than an occasional FB or IG post I like to concentrate on my beer drinking. If it's an emergency, it's a phone! They can call me.
