Met up with Dave and Roger for a quick bay trip. Went to a spot where they haven't caught a fish in a month. This was a sign that they weren't going to fish long and get to their backgammon tourney.
They quit early, but I managed 3 mackerel on the swimmy. Two went home for shark bait and the third flopped off when trying to flip it up the rocks.
The bass were about 20 yards past my furthest cast as the Tupperware Army made evident to me. Oh well, but a beautiful day out!
BTW, there was a huge surge in the back Bay. Pretty cool to see again.
2 macks for bait is a win in my book!
