Decided to try a new boat so I booked a ride on the Eldorado out of Long Beach. Super nice boat and even a nicer crew, would recommend to anyone. 28 people on a 85' boat made for very comfortable fishing, plus a good group of anglers. I only ended up with three yellowtail, this being the largest. For the first time I left my spinner at home and went with the conventional reels, these were my first yellowtail on them. All in all, no complaints...........Verne
As usual, I held the fish against my body........ended up with blood on pants :(

Nice YT Verne! Congrats on nailing them with the conventionals too! A confidence builder for sure!
That'll make for some good eating for awhile!
Boat fishing looks like so much fun, I just hate fishing shoulder to shoulder. I bet that small group on a big boat made it nice though.
Awesome Verne! Much congrats and that's a beauty!

I made the decision this year Chad to forgo the day boats. It costs more, but there's a big difference between 70 people on a 65' boat or 30 people on a 85' boat. Last year I was fishing twice a month, this year only once a month................costs the same and much more fun ;D
Nothin wrong with a little blood on the pants 8)
Glad you got a few.
We leave tomorrow night for our overnight.
"Only 3 yellows". Lol!! I'm stoked catching one!
