Man what a wash today in Rancho Bernardo! Must of had 2"+ in just the last hour alone! Can't wait to see these SoCal reservoir volumes grow - Barrett especially.
Big brother to todays storm is supposed to hit Sun/Mon. Be safe out there.
Any bets the water companies WON'T decrease rates now that the drought has had some help?
Used to do this when I was a kid. Next generation keeping the faith! My oldest golf course storm surfing!

My bellwether is if Hodges refills. If it floods the practical forest under the 15 that will be cover and food yielding to a huge fish spawn.
Many years ago it was like this and refilled. The next year catfish were hard to find, the year after tons of baitstealers, the next swarms of <1 lbers and so on until they were about 3-4 lbs.
The reservoir levels Monday after next should be quite telling.

Looks cold!
Very Hawaiian looking sport! lol
Thought today was supposed to be The major storm, it's hardly raining.

I'm an absolute weather dork, so love the underground. Pretty good forecasting.
The models have backed off intensity. LA getting bombed, but we down south will see the San Diego fizzle. Should get rain but not the 2-4" projected a few days ago.
Consistent medium downpore for the last few hrs here in OC
