: Grabbing a Big Wet Clam (11/13)
: Latimeria November 15, 2016, 09:06:08 p
Well, with the help of some friends, I got some secret intel on some clam beds and met them for a quick harvest.  I worked a big swath of beach for only a couple of small clams that I put back but finally saw secret agent #1 and #2  who called me over to the mother lode.

Clam Beach.

Wow, those are nice one's Tom...
Anyone else here ever done any geoduck diggin? How about razor clamming? My Grandpa used to let me tag along with him many years ago. Don't know if there's still a fishery for them like there used to be.

Always a good idea to visually inspect the clam prior to eating it. :)

I've seen the clam guys out a few times at one of our VC 7gill spots.

I looked in there bucket on more than one occasion and they did well 8)

I've found some small ones in the past, just picked them up and threw them further out so no one would mess with them.

There's still a few productive spots in SD. I use my feet to find them when the tide isn't low enough.
