Hit a north county beach for 2 things: check surf conditions and test out new reel.
Surf was very tolerable, the kelp... not so much. 2-3lbs of kelp and eel grass on every cast. This was 2 casts.

Sorry to hear about the surf, I hope it clears up in time for our gathering. I want to see more pics of the reel. :)
It's on the small side. May even be smaller than Binh's Squall. Lol! And I was giving him sh!t.
