Nothing to see here, move along.
Friday night's Team Hamilton hang out at Mission Bay produced a well distinguished skunk.
No bites with fish fry for all to watch. Many surface disturbances and descent splashes to keep one awake. Had one quick zing from a larger Smelt that got us leaping out of our chairs.
Area didn't feel fishy but my fish radar needs to get recalibrate because it is off.
Time with my boys is always awesome, but they are starting to get discouraged.
Tell them they can go fishing or clean the garage.
Crabs invaded MB which makes fishing tougher for all fish. Well, you got out there and that's half the battle.
You are due. Glad you got out.

Saw about crabs up north but hadn't heard about down here.
Jim
Time to try the surf.
Yep. I believe it is time to go all in for the surf. Though I feel seriously underfunded for the surf, an epic battle would always be welcomed. I have a feeling most of the bay inhabitants that we target have moved to the surf. Now the process of finding spots on the surf begins.

Just use what you have for bats. The only thing I'd recommend getting is some steel for their teeth.
Got the steel leaders and have the "Norwegian" mackerel. Now, just got to go out there.
