With the good amount of hits I had on Friday night, it only seemed reasonable that the next night would also produce a shark hit, if not a shark. I met Steve at the beach and we hit the shark zone with some great baits!
On my first cast I get the critter that was trying to steal my bait... no matter, it is one of our targeted species. 8)

the next 3 hours, I continued to lose baits and Steve continued to lose rigs. Lucky for him, I snagged one of his lost rigs and recovered everything for him. It appears Squatch needs to go back to the drawing board as 100# braid seems to snap way too easy. Not sure if he reeled up a bad spool, or has a lot of bad spots from reef or something.
In any case, we packed it up with one bass to show for it. It was a great evening out on the beach. Mellow conditions and weed free, but also shark free.
Until next tide!

Perfect 8)
Guess I will give it another shot tomorrow and see what happens.
nice gents.
You are human! I was expecting to read another monster bite from you two. Tides should be good for another shot this week. I'll be going out Thursday night, hopefully with something to report on Friday. ;)
