Team Hamilton is out again to do battle with the nefarious Bay Ray!
Not really nefarious, but we are fishing for them. Two rods, one double squid, the other, a mackerel half. Hopefully the good half.
Report (s) to follow as they happen.
Nothing to report for us but building another raging fire. As we were packing up, a fellow PS'er, whose name eludes me, caught a smaller model Bat. I helped with the sandhand duty but it really wasn't needed. Didn't know he was a PS'er until after. Cute little Ray in the high 20 to low 30 range.
Whatever was molesting the baits weren't big enough to get the whole bait. Little things are out there. DeAnza is starting to get a vibrant green algae out there.
Better luck ,next time. Paying more dues.
It's been tough for a bunch of guys lately. I'm pulling for Team Hamilton! You guys are putting your time in and when it happens, it is going to be epic. It always seems to happen that way!
Looking forward to the 50"+ leo and bat catch from the bay! Keep at it. It's tough year so far
The magic number of 50" plus is definitely the goal. We'll keep picking away. Time to try a new spot I believe.

Present. Good meeting you.
Had a few more short runs after that, landed one horn shark.
If you guys were curious about how late you can stay in that lot -- the tow trucks showed up around 12:45 and had someone (not me) up on the bed by 12:50.
Been slow for us too. Seems like we can fish one spot for 2 in the 40" range or another spot for 1 in the 50" range >:(

It was great to meet you too. Thank you for the useful Intel about the parking lot.
A Horn Shark is cool but definitely not a Bat. We had a couple short runs too and some half eaten baits. That area must be the nursery right now.
Hope to see you and your group soon. Fish On!
Time to hit a different spot!
Agreed. Already planning a couple different areas. It's all in the process of dialing in the bay. Time to explore a bit ,for me at least.
Been fishing it ten years. Tom longer than that. Lots longer.
Wish I could say it was dialed in.
Haha!
That is more than likely to be the truth. You guys are legendary. We are looking at a couple fresh spots for us.
Youve been OTW typing for quite an extended period of time now...like 96 hours straight??Time for a break team Hamilton...lol
It's almost like being homeless. You know, teach a man to fish......
And I would be dead after this session. LOL!

Might be old, but we aren't so scared we need a tail rope. Yet.

Never said I was scared. I just have the smarts to make things easy. :P :P :P
Overall, all of you are much better at this than I. I still have a large learning curve and simply experience to gain.

There is always more to learn and the curve is always there. Spending time on the sand is the only answer.

We all started out at one time. You go out fishing, take your kids, and have a good time. You have the basics nailed.
