Spent a few hours at CI harbor last night soaking bait with not so much as a half hearted tug :-\
Mac on one rod and double squid on the other. It was crazy windy.
I sure hope everyone gets to pull on at least something fishy on Saturday!

I've never had that good of luck in CI. Ventura harbor is the way to go but alas they are dredging right now. Plus with all the rain on Saturday the water looked pretty poopy. Next Saturday they will be ours!

I had intended to fish Ventura harbor, but there was dredging equipment floating EVERYWHERE! Plus, like you said, the water was like chocolate milk. If the waves don't die down, we might be screwed... >:(

FWIW, Friday evening we're going to try the short beach between the south Marina Del Rey jetty and the volleyball courts. Hoping it will be protected by the jetty/breakwater from the west swell. WTF.................may as well go for 10 skunks in a row :o
You know what screw it! We're hitting the 7 ground, be it for bats or 7s, if Chad gets his first 7 it'll be a successful bat night for team VC. But I want you all to know, I haven't had a dry outing yet, even if it has been only one outing! LOL! :P

From what I've heard, it's when you grab the sleeping bag by the tail and it tries to eat you that gets the adrenaline pumping :o
Tail rope solved that problem. Now my buzz doesn't get crushed by adrenaline anymore ... ;)
And my out-of-shape ticker doesn't need that kind of spike anyway, or I might be lying there next to it. :-\
