If you want to keep fish best not to do it in the public eye.

Next thing you know Ramon, you'll be on the news :o
Wicked homies, sounds like a great group of people.
I'm callin BS on him coming back and feeding everyone and "spreading the love". He really went out of his way to paint the perfect picture of himself.
"if he released it, it would have died"

Is that John Kim flipping everyone off? :D
Ran into a few of those guys at Squidco. They seemed ok, hardcore pier anglers. Reminds of the fisherman in the Jaws movie when the frenzy started to "get" the white shark. Like Eric said, they've just painted themselves in a very negative light. Legal or not, it's all about perception and we all know how enviro crazy California is nowadays. Just put the damn shark out of its misery ASAP if you're gonna harvest it.
I've seen some of there YouTube videos and this was not the first time scenes like that have been filmed. Not to offend, but just not the way I would do that.
Soup fin too. They smell nasty as hell pretty quick on the beach. Think of the stank meat.
I'd whack the head, and gut immediately on any shark take for freshness.
I agree. Immediate processing is a must.
Slit the gills, cut the tail, hang in water for 10mins. Gut it, fin it and behead it. Put on ice and take it home.
