Pretty cool article on the LA River. I have family that live near in Atwater Village and I always see the river as we drive up, actually the river is just on the other side of their backyard fence. Always wanted to fish it.

Grew up with the river over our back fence.  My little sister and I spent many moons blue gill fishing and catching crawdads.  Good memmories...........

There's a very cool Book on the LA River by a guy named Christopher Brand. It's kind of an art book/documentary. The guy is a high end tatoo artist and his art is very dark and creepy. He did the book as a side project and pretty much just walked the river everyday documenting/photographing/drawing all the cool sh!t he saw.
