Do you guys find the Soupfin and Sevengill to bite in the fall like they do in the late spring and early summer?
Do you feel the water is too warm for them?
Historically the fall has been great. Usually more opportunities as the crowds thin and it gets dark earlier. I Don't know what the warm water does.
Yeah, historically, September is a great month for Sevengills, but I've been blanked the last 4 surf trips in optimal conditions. I did get a monster Soupie in September though, but that was it. Not sure if the warm water is changing their habits, but it seems logical with the data we've been collecting from all the surf fishing over the years.
